Job Description and Summary: The Divine Solar Consultant meets with homeowners, educates them as to the benefits of solar in their particular situation, provides tailored options and recommendations, and closes the sale.
Skills and Capabilities: The candidate must bring the three following attributes to the table:
(1) Intelligence and a nimble mind: Be able to master product and market knowledge, as well as basic mathematical concepts in order to evaluate the homeowners' needs and present them with proper and effective solutions
(2) Personality: Be able to connect with a wide variety of people, build rapport, form bonds and earn trust. It's also good to have a little fun while you do it!
(3) Work Ethic: Be willing to work hard and earn your success! The opportunity is here to make a terrific living, but it is not for the lazy or faint of heart. You must be self-disciplined and self-motivating. If you are, you will be handsomely rewarded. If not, then this isn't for you.It also goes without saying that you must be professional, exhibit integrity and be a team player.
Background: SUCCESSFUL sales experience is a big plus, particularly the sale of intangible goods or services. Insurance, real estate, and financial professionals, as well as educators and others who have strong communications skills, tend to do very well. Experience in the solar field can be helpful but is not necessary. If you can sell, we can train you to sell solar.
Commission ranges from 5% - 8% depending on experience.
